Over 30 years of Experience - Treloar Transport is a family business which has been involved in all facets of construction, civil contracting, earthmoving and quarrying in Tasmania since 1978. During this time the company has developed a reputation for reliability and excellence in customer service delivering a quality product with high regard for environmental issues.
Treloar Transport can offer a complete civil construction package from design, project management, material supply and delivery (stormwater and sewerage installation), provision for services, earthworks, pavement construction, concreting and landscaping. The company operates anywhere in the north and west coast of Tasmania.

A Winning Construction Company- Treloar Transport is proud to be the Tasmanian winner of the Civil Construction Federation 2007 Earth Awards for innovation and excellence in civil construction (Projects up to $1million). This was awarded for the Deloraine West Sewerage Pump Station and Rising Main.

Managing Director
John Treloar is the managing director of Treloar Transport he has over 20 years experience in the civil construction industry. John has an intricate understanding of the industry through "hands on" practical experience in the early days. He has a Certificate III in Frontline Management and is a licensed shotfirer. Under John's direction the company has gone from strength to strength and is a member of the industry and professional associations of CCAA, CCF and IQA, thus strengthening the company's professional foundations.

Project Cost Estimator
Chris Treloar Chris is in the process of gaining his Civil Engineering degree at the University of Tasmania. To acquire hands on experience he has worked at Treloar Transport for the past 3 years initially as a plant operator. Utilising his engineering skills he is also the cost estimator for the business.

Supervisors
Ashley McCormack is a qualified diesel fitter with more than 10 years experience in heavy equipment and truck maintenance.
Site Supervisors
Mark Laycock, Ken Lewis and Nigel Medcraft each have over 20 years experience in all aspects of civil construction and all have formal qualifications in their field.
Quarry Supervisor
Peter Lowe has 15 years hands on experience in his field. He has Certificate III competencies in plant and extractive industries operations.

Kay Frankcombe , Wendy Curtis and Jody Sharman are often the first point of customer contact. All are very helpful and efficient.

Max has a wealth of construction experience gained throughout Australia over a 25 year working on projects that include minor civil and building work to major civil engineering projects such as highway work, dam construction, runway construction and industrial building construction. Nigel Beeke, a mining engineer and environmental manager with 25 years of experience in the mining and quarrying industries both in Australia and overseas. Surveying services are provided by
Richard Sands who has more than 30 years experience including quarry and landfill quantity and subdivision layout. The NATA testing authority used is ADG Laboratories (
Mike Maundrill) who has 30 years of experience in quality control of quarrying and civil works.
